Is difficult to start this post with the right word. Difficult because yesterday was truly indescribable. I will try to tell you what is meant to enter, even only for an hour, inside of one of the most important fashion magazines'in the world: Vogue Italia, and be able to meet his editor in chief, Franca Sozzani. For nothing in the world I would miss the opportunity that Vogue dedicated to all those who, by registering on the site, wanted to have a glimpse of this golden world. The initiative, created also with the aim of promoting Franca Sozzani' s book, "I Capricci della Moda," I think proved to be a real surprise for everyone. The thing I want to say straight away andis that to welcome us there was a team of people very friendly, polite and, above all, open to dialogue with anyone asking them a question, a curiosity '. As we enter we've been taken to Franca, which welcomed us with a big smile. The truth is that I had prepared some questions, what to ask .. but then I got there and something stops me, a mixture of fear and embarrassment, and everything that I mix in the head seemed too stupid to be said. Neither Raffaele, my fellow adventure, has been able to do better! In any case, I talked a bit about the blog, she gave me suggestions and advice and pointed me toward some of his colleagues and to the two guests. I have therefore directed to Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi, which I hope are reading (remember, you promised an invitation to the upcoming fashion shows ... eheheh) that were very interested in the blog phenomenon, both positive and negative, and I found it very exciting to hear the opinion of those who create the fashion every day. They are one of the talented young Italian examples of that, working hard, they have come to realize their dream. Knowing these realities gives you a lot to think, to reflect on the good path and I have thousands of ideas spring to mind. Staying in Vogue is 'inspiring and the temptation to hide somewhere to stay there was strong :-) We visited the various sections: news, fashion and talents, where I met Sara Maino, senior fashion editor. We have talked about our section of emerging designers and I'm sure there will 'be a little collaboration in this area. Our last meeting was with Massimiliano Sortino, fashion editor of Vogue.it, which gave us a wonderful interview that you will read in a few weeks. A signature on the glass, some photos and time in Vogue past. I say again how difficult it is to explain in words the experience of yesterday, 'cause Vogue, for those who follow fashion, is a 'temple' and what you don't expect is the friendly and solar atmosphere inside of the offices. Be able to touch a world that seems unattainable from ouside is incredible and I think this will remain' an unforgettable day. I leave you some photos taken yesterday afternoon and taken from the site of
Vogue (clicking will open directly Gallery). Thank you again Franca, Sara, Massimiliano and all the editorial office for giving us this wonderful opportunity.
